Feeling stressed or overwhelmed?

You’re no alone. Many people know the feeling of not being able to sleep. Once sleep problems start, they can also trigger anxiety. Meditation is a technique that people can use to reduce stress around bedtime and help them fall asleep more easily.

How meditation can help you reduce stress

1

Lower Stress

During meditation we activate the prefrontal neural framework of the brain, our decision making center, and reduce the activity in the amygdala, which manages our “fight or flight” response. When we practice meditation we reduce the tendency of the mind to wander, a wandering mind is an unhappy mind meditation can increase our sense of well-being by being more present in what is going on in the moment.
2

Balance System

Balance the nervous system. The autonomic nervous system is made up of two parts, one that keeps us awake and one that helps us sleep. Stress can cause an imbalance between these two parts. Meditation has been shown to restore the balance and help you achieve the relaxation you need.
3

Quiet The Mind

Quiet the mind. Once you become mindful and observant of your own reactions and thoughts, you can begin to understand yourself and have more control of your reactions to stressful situations.
Life changing. Manage stress, build confidence and reduced anxiety. I signed up for another year with new goals!
